Hi All,

As Tropical Storm Emily bears down on us (I know you're praying) I want to take a few minutes to celebrate what God has been doing in Haiti. First, let me say that we are safe and prepared, but we too are praying for this storm to stop or change course. The current projections are very bad for those living in tents, but we are ready to assist with all the resources we have. Take some time to pray, but also a few minutes to celebrate as you read:

What a great month July was. Lots of challenges, but tremendous progress as teams from Lakeshore, Canada, Camas, Conyers, Dallas, Las Vegas (a medical team with British & Nigerian doctors), and Washington D.C. fed hungry people, visited orphanages, built self-sufficiency projects, cared for the sick, clothed the poor, taught the Word to children, youth and adults, and prayed over people leading them to Christ. It is truly amazing to watch the church fulfill the Great Commission with such grace and compassion! We are proud to be Foursquare!

The National Church is worshipping with passion and growing weekly. We just started a service in English to help English students and open doors to English speakers around Port au Prince. Michael and Alex Do are working with our Haitian worship leaders and the service is going GREAT! Pray as we prepare to kick off out Foursquare Haiti Institute this fall. Lots of training opportunities coming, and lots of teaching opportunities as well. We’re almost up and running with our new website www.Foursquarehaiti.org, with more information about what’s happening in Haiti and how you can Pray, Give, and Go! We’d love to see you in Haiti, and until you find a way, continue to pray for continued revival, rebuilding, and transformation! The church is rising up, and according to 2 Chron 7:14 God will hear, forgive and HEAL this land!

Ground Breaking in Les Cayes with Pastor Amos Dodge

We broke ground in Les Cayes and Torcel to kick off our building projects of a new church, school, and orphanage. The Pastors, the people, the neighborhood, were all excited to see what was happening in their midst.

We rebuilt a road, built a chicken coop and dedicated a well in Les Cayes along with a medical clinic and Ground-Breaking service with a full lunch for the church & neighbors – they were HAPPY!

The Work Continues! Every team a great blessing to this nation! Our Foursquare family in Haiti and Pastor Guy Thomas extend their thanks and great appreciation for your prayers and efforts to help, as God combines the energy of the church with the power of His Spirit to bring healing and transformation to this nation that has been so savagely raked by "the thief who has come to steal, to kill, and to destroy". They say, and we join our voices, "No More!" The time has come for a New Haiti, rising from the ashes of destruction to give testimony to a watching world, of the power of love to overcome the darkness, and the faithfulness of God to respond the the cry of His people.

Keep Praying for Haiti, and remember our FMI Global Missions Fund! We’re excited about what is happening in Haiti, but God is doing great things everywhere in these last days and we all have our part to give, whether next door, a remote village in Haiti, or on our knees, every part is critical, as is every gift.
