"We are doing well here in Germany - we've gotten all settled in to our new apartment (aside from not having a kitchen, which arrives on September 26 - this is very common here in Germany).
The kids are doing well - Kaitlyn attended the last 2 weeks of school here and is now on her 6 week summer break. She'll start grade 3 in mid-September. Hudson is on the mend, and is loving exploring his new area.
Ministry wise, we have already had several opportunities to build relationships with our new neighbors as well as some parents from Kaitlyn's school. And last week we helped put on a VBS outreach for refugee kids here in our town. We feel like there are a lot of ministry opportunities already, which is very exciting!
Everyone is feeling much better - thank you for the prayers. We could continue to use prayers for health and for grace as we build relationships and continue to get integrated into life and culture here. Also, prayers for language learning would be appreciated."
