In order to assist the church with online enquiries, transfers, bill payments, ATM deposits and account reconciliations a convenience card may be set up in the name of those individuals that have authorized access by the church council.
Foursquare policy requires two signatures on all bank transactions. Convenience cards cannot be setup to do debit purchases or withdrawals from the church accounts.
Convenience Card Authorization
To have a convenience card setup for the church accounts please provide the following information by letter or email to the national office:
The national office will complete the Foursquare letter of authorization and fax to the BCC for processing. Once the card has been setup the cardholder will be contacted directly to make an appointment at the local branch for signatures and card activation.
Add Bill Payments
To add/remove bill payments from existing convenience cards please notify the national office by letter or email with bill payment details (vendor name and account number). The national office will prepare the Foursquare letter of authorization and fax to the BCC for processing.
To amend or delete a convenience card please notify the national office by letter or email. A Foursquare letter of authorization will be prepared and faxed to the BCC for processing.
When a convenience card is lost or stolen please notify the BCC and the national office immediately.
To set up a church with online access for Government payments, please notify the national office by letter or email. A Foursquare letter of authorization will be prepared and faxed to the BCC. Upon setup, an email will be sent by the BCC directly to the authorized contact person with access codes and further setup information.
