Notices & Severance
When a church is not able to compensate an employee for the month or in future it is required to adhere to the rules of the employment standards for that province. In most cases, reasonable notice is expected to be given and in some cases severance pay may be entitled by the employee. If such circumstances arise please contact the national office for further information.
Record of Employment (ROE)
An ROE (Record of Employment) form is to be completed when a person leaves the employ of the church or goes on an approved leave. This form helps the individual in establishing an Employment Insurance claim. This form must be completed even if an employee has no intention of filing a claim for EI benefits.
