Compass Church believes:

Mission: Leading people to be passionate disciples of Jesus who invite others to join in the journey.

Vision: Compass Church recognizes that every person is invited by Jesus to follow Him through the journey of life as a disciple. Together, by the Holy Spirit, if we abide in Jesus we will grow to maturity. Mature believers are those who can say, "Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ." therefore, we seek maturity for every follower. (1 Cor 11:1)

Values:

Loving God:

·        We value becoming a disciple of Jesus through yielding to the Holy Spirit's guidance.

·        We value dependence on God expressed through prayer.

·        We value living in obedience to the authority of Scripture.

·        We value acts of worship and sacrifice in response to who God is today, yesterday, and forever.

Loving Others:

·        We value discipleship as God's means of encouraging people towards personal growth and maturity.

·        We value healthy relationships.

·        We value honest, loving, authentic community.

·        We value a church that is inclusive to the ethnicity and inter-generational makeup of our community.

Loving the World:

·        We value the commission of Jesus to go out into all the world and make disciples.

·        We value the direction of God's wisdom when serving with acts of kindness, love, and justice, both locally and globally.

·        We value speaking the Gospel in culturally relevant ways in our community and around the world.
