Ted likes everyone; he is an includer and team builder who never wants anyone to be left out. This drives his passion to create pathways and connections for everyone to grow closer in their relationship with God and experience the adventure of their life mission through Christ.
He uses these gifts for expansion in the U.S. and globally as he develops, coordinates and engages opportunities, initiatives and people on behalf of The Foursquare Church.
Ted has served in many roles, including field missionary in Latin America, senior pastor of two churches in Colorado and Hispanic divisional superintendent. In 2001, he became an area missionary to North America with Foursquare Missions International (FMI). In 2009, his roles expanded and have included being founding director of Foursquare Disaster Relief (FDR), director of urban and multicultural ministries, and associate director, then director, of FMI.
Ted earned a master’s degree in global leadership and a doctorate in intercultural studies from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. He has contributed published works in transforming global ministry partnerships and immigrant relationships.
Ted loves being outside and keeps active outdoors on a hike, bike, kayak or snowboard. You’ll find him working from his “homemade home office” or somewhere in the world on whatever rooftop, curbside café or trail he can find. Ted’s best friend is his wife, Dawn, a fellow adventurous missionary/pastor. They have three adult children. Together they try
to be a blessing everywhere by loving people, expressing kindness and sharing God’s goodness.
