Foursquare Canada offers short-term counselling over the phone or Zoom for licensed pastors and their immediate families. Those who live locally (Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Isalnd) can also receive in-person counseling.
CARE Counselling offers:
- Confidentiality: We maintain strict confidentiality at all times with the exception of legal or threat situations.
- Consultation: We will help you to talk through your situation and offer assessment to develop a plan of action.
- Referral: If necessary, we can refer you to a licensed Christian counselor for further care.
- Counselling: We will offer you short term counselling.

Sharon Bulger, Registered Clinical Counsellor.

I am a person-centred and trauma-informed clinical counsellor who draws from various therapeutic modalities to collaboratively tailor sessions around clients’ unique strengths, needs and goals. I work with youth, individuals and families and believe each person has the innate potential to heal and thrive. While I am happy to come alongside clients with whatever they are navigating, some prominent areas of experience include life transitions, anxiety, depression, life-threatening illnesses, medical trauma and diagnosis, grief and loss, family dynamics, personality disorders and neurodiversity (ie. ADHD, ASD). I have a warm and direct style that leads to open and transparent conversations, practical tools and solutions.
I have been a member of Sunshine Hills Foursquare Church since 2011 and have served as the Church Council Chair for 12 of those years. My years as Council Chair have helped me to understand the pressures, stressors, and challenges that can come from overseeing, supporting, and serving church communities.
As a wife, a mom of 5 (2 biological children, 1 who went ahead of me to Heaven, and 3 others that were blessed to raise), and a Mimi to 1, I have learned that there is always joy to be found in the journey. When not helping others to find their joy, I can be found paddling on a body of water, playing board games, watching my son play sports or reading a book in the sun. I love a good cup of coffee, a table full of family and friends and doing something every day that brings joy.

Tyler Jorgensen
Located: Nanaimo, BC and via Zoom
Tyler Jorgensen is a compassionate therapist and devoted husband and father with over twenty years of ministry experience. Tyler serves as the Executive Pastor at Harvest Church in Nanaimo, British Columbia. His heart for helping pastors and missionaries is evident through his extensive experience in missions work and pastoral ministry. Tyler is also a practicum therapist completing his Master of Counselling, combining his therapeutic skills with his deep pastoral heart for supporting individuals in their emotional and spiritual journeys. He is married to Lizzy, who serves as the Lead Pastor at Harvest, and together they have four children.
