We hosted our first Canadian Foursquare Disaster Relief Training with an International FDR trainer, offering courses in BC and Ontario. Forty-one people from 16 churches across BC, AB, and ON participated. We’re now developing a Canadian trainer and course to build a small deployment team and equip our churches to respond skillfully to local crises.
Through courageous Foursquare communities worldwide, Foursquare Disaster Relief empowers local churches to bring hope and healing when their communities are shattered by disaster. This includes nourshing meals and clean water with spiritual care and safe shelter options when possible.
